A short history

Medellín was known  for his crimes wave in the 80’s  because of  drug  trafficker Pablo Escobar. City had a real black eye. Bombs, attacks, political corruption, and murders was the daily bread. You would not want to live in that decade in this region. But now everything is different and better. You can take a walk or ride and lead your life.

Since that time, the city has been a lot of  changes. Short time ago it was the winner of “the most innovation city” between cities such as Tel Aviv, New York and Sao Paulo and the economy of the region is strong and healthy.
Now is constructing the “New North” of the city, with new and modern building around the University of Antioquia and Jardin Botánico.
